Congratulations to Dr. Haobo Wang!

Haobo Wang recently successfully defended his PhD thesis! Haobo is interested in how proteins and nucleic acids interact and functions, and his thesis research in the Bailey lab examined the structural basis of noncognate target recognition by a Type I CRISPR system.

Prior to becoming a PhD student, Haobo earned an ScM from the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, in the Leung lab, just around the corner from the Bailey lab.
